Microsoft Word - Level 3

Prerequisite: Beyond the Basics of Word Processing

Microsoft Word is a popular word processing program for creating such documents as memos, letters, reports, research papers, brochures, announcements, newsletters, envelopes, labels, etc. This is an advanced class on Microsoft Word 2003, and covers how to enhance documents, memos, letter, etc.

The class objectives include:

  • Finding and replacing text
  • Revealing formatting
  • Cutting, copying and pasting text
  • Using the Paste Special feature
  • Inserting and modifying page numbers
  • Modifying margins
  • Modifying document properties
  • Inserting, sizing and moving images
  • Inserting, sizing and moving WordArt
  • Using the drawing toolbar
  • Preparing an envelope
  • Preparing mailing labels
