How to Contract on USmallBiz

Step 1: Determine if WMDBE is required to be federally certified

USmallBiz is divided into two main segments. WMDBEs that are federally certified and those that are not. Select the segment that best fits your needs.

Step 2: Select product or service category

Within each segment of USmallBiz users can select from two three categories:

• Goods & Services
• Professional Services
• UWide Contracts

Choose from one of the three categories to begin reviewing WMDBEs

Step 3: Select WMDBE

User selects from a list of three WMDBEs listed. By “clicking” on the name of a particular WMDBE, user can review specific company information as well as recommendations.

If user does not want to choose from any of the recommended vendors, they can be linked to the entire list of WMDBEs.
